Let’s cut the crap, if your homepage sucks, your business is bleeding potential.
Most visitors decide whether to trust you within seconds, so if your homepage isn’t doing the heavy lifting? You’ve already lost them.
Here’s my no-bullshit, works-every-time formula for a homepage that turns heads and books clients:
1. Hero headline that punches hard
You’ve got one line to make them stay. This isn’t the time for “Welcome to my website.” BORING. Try something bold, like “Helping badass entrepreneurs launch websites that actually convert.” Be clear, be confident, and for the love of pixels, say what you actually do.
2. A subheadline with impact
Use this to drive home your value. Think of it like the juicy follow-up to your killer headline. “Bold design. Clear strategy. A site that finally feels like YOU.”
3. Call to action above the fold
You’ve got to guide your dream clients, don’t make them scroll a mile to find a button. Make your CTA pop. “Book your free consult.” “See the packages.” “Make me a damn website already.” Whatever your vibe is, make it obvious.
4. Client love
Your homepage needs proof. Real humans saying real things about how amazing you are. Think bold testimonials, screenshots of DMs, whatever shows you’re the real deal.
5. Killer visuals
If you’re using that same boring stock photo of a laptop and latte, we need to talk. Your images should show off you, your vibe, your work. Make it real, make it bold, make it you.
This homepage formula has worked for every site I’ve built, from creative entrepreneurs to orthodontists to construction bosses. It’s not about trends. It’s about connection, clarity, and confidence. Now go steal it...
Or let me build it for you. 😉
